AVP is a voluntary organisation - our facilitators and most of our organisation is fuelled by commitment! There is always lots of work to be done and we need help with tasks big and small.

You might

• train as a facilitator through our workshops
• help organise workshops
• offer administrative support to an AVP group
• offer professional skills in marketing, design or finance
  (we currently need experienced charity treasurers)

Staff vacancies:

AVP London has a vacancy for a part time Project Coordinator.

• Based in: Old Street, London N1
• Contract: P/T 3 days a week for 6 month contract
• Salary: £28,000 pro rata
• To start: Candidates will need to be able to take up this post from late September.   

The Project Coordinator will manage an existing programme of community workshops in London and in prisons as well as plan and organise a series of workshops at the start of 2009. The role will also include volunteer management, fundraising and office administration.

We are looking for candidates who are highly motivated, with excellent communication skills and experience of project management.

Volunteer Trustee

. We are looking for someone interested in promoting non-violent ways of dealing with conflict to join our board of trustees. Trustees have the opportunity to train as group facilitators as well as being responsible for the governance and strategy of the organisation.
